We dined here for my birthday!! We had reservations and were seated immediately upon arriving. There were quite a few other patrons... nice space. They still had holiday decor up but it was nice. Prices are on the higher side, but we all enjoyed our food... no issues there which was good. I had the stuffed salmon, hubby had a blackened fish, son had a burger and daughter had the crab & shrimp dip since she wasn't too hungry. They also gave me a chocolate cupcake dessert with a sparkler. Nice touch for birthdays. We saw several that night. We'd go again.

Went to Pangea for dinner and I loved the atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and welcoming Appetizers: tarted off with the oysters and chicken potstickers. The oysters were good but they were more on the dry side. Like they have been chargrilled a little too long. The potstickers seemed like the normal potstickers you'd get at any other restaurant. Drinks: I ordered the Larry June. It was absolutely amazing, like a creamsicle cookie but with alcohol. 10/10 I do recommend this drink. Also I am a huge Larry June fan so it's a plus. Entree: I ordered the Bayou Classic and the Have Merci. I wanted to try the dish that beat Bobby flay. The Have Merci was amazing but I do feel like it could've had more seasoning to it, however the mix of flavors and freshness was amazing. The bayou classic was amazing! I am a huge seafood person so this dish was well worth it. I also added a side of cornbread. The cornbread was very sweet and moist, it was definitely amazing and this is coming from a person who hates cornbread.

Food: 10/10 Service: 8.7/10 Ambiance: 7.5/10 Chef Kevin never fails my tastebuds idc what you order, even if you order something you usually don't like, you'll be amazed! Everything ordered was superb in flavor. Nothing lacked. I'm from Louisiana and find it hard to get a quality seasoned meal in Dallas. The ambiance is nice, however I hope the DJ for Sundays hopefully gets rotated out. He had a loud trap mix going the entire time. If you're not a fan of noise, visit during week days/Saturdays. This place is perfect for private events, Sunday funday brunch, or dinner with loved ones or even solo dates! Highly recommend.

I recently visited Pangea Restaurant in Garland, Texas, after hearing about it on Instagram, and it was a great experience! I ordered the Jerk Roasted Lamb Shank, which was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned. The lamb shank was massive and came served on a bed of mashed potatoes. The portion size was more than generous! My friend had the Stuffed Salmon, and they really enjoyed their meal as well. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere with music playing, but since we went in the middle of the week, it wasn't too busy, making for a nice, relaxed dining experience. Our server, Christian, was a standout. He had such a big personality, full of energy, and was very attentive throughout our meal. We really enjoyed his service and the overall experience.

Was looking for a yummy brunch spot in Dallas and came across the gem. They are known for having a great Sunday brunch with live music, but it was Saturday for us, and I knew if anything at all, they'd have some good music playing at least over the speakers! And that they did! We came in early, and sat at the bar. It took a little while before we were greeted, but come to find out, they were short a bartender, so they had someone else to help assist. There were lots of servers around that seemed to be running food and cleaning tables, but service was a bit slow for where we were, they probably should've had a manager handling the bar. Other than this hiccup, I can see that this place could be a really great experience. All of the food, and I mean all, was really good, nicely seasoned, hot and fresh! I ordered the egg benedict, and it was delicious. It came with turkey or beef bacon, not sure which, so that was a surprise for me, but a nice surprise, it was cooked really well. The breakfast potatoes as well were seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. Some places can hit or miss potatoes, but Pangea did not! My sister ordered a pepperoni flatbread with jalapenos, which she couldn't stop raving about, and my parents split the breakfast tacos, which looked incredible as well! Overall, I think this place is someplace I would come back to on a Sunday, when they have a DJ playing. And I'd also like to try the dinner. A few friends have already told me they love coming here and the food is always good.

Pangea. Chef Kev. The assignment is understood! Our family brunch was really great. I loved the DJ, the music was at a comfortable, easy-listening volume, the seating area was comfortable and welcoming. The drinks were on point, loved the Henny Martini. All the food were ordered was delicious. Unfortunately, my dad and I ordered the oxtails and grits and they ran out of oxtails last minute. Super disappointing. But, the items I did taste were delicious - shrimp & grits, the chicken brunch burger, fried catfish (cooked perfectly). Thanks to my boy Chef Kev for the round of shots for the family, since the oxtails weren't available. I'll be back for them though, TRUST ME!

Very nice and aesthetically pleasing restaurant. I believe it is black owned. Food was pretty good and the vibes were nice. I went on a Sunday, so there was a DJ around 12pm. You get a good bang for your buck here. Why the rating decreased was due to cleanliness of the cups and utensils. My mimosa flute was pretty dirty, but the waiter changed it for me without any issues.

Beautiful restaurant with more than enough places to sit including outdoor seating.. The music was nice, anything from Migos, t-pain to Michael Jackson & the fugees ..! My server was Carlos, he was very attentive and gave great suggestions. Parking is complementary, please don't park outside of where the restaurant is.. they will tow just hand them your keys and let them park your car.. My drink was good, and as a light weight of course the first one got me I had the pangria subbing the rosé for red wine. The food was really good! Especially for me because I'm super picky, everything had its own taste.. 10/10 will be back
